Friday's Just Sayin'

Surprise!  A Friday's Just Sayin' on Friday...Who knew?

1.  Relay For Life was a HUGE success!...That makes me very happy because I worked my ass off...In total, our team raised over $4,000 for the American Cancer Society :)  There were even 7 of us that lasted the full 12 hours until 6am....Technically, I was there for 16 hours....Just Sayin'....lol

2.  Just because I am a woman, a mother, and a wife, does not mean that I am the only f*^%! person who can arrange something for dinner...The last time I checked, I worked a full time job...and when I do get home with Brodie...it's 6pm (or after)...So all a great deal of my time is spent getting his dinner together (he usually eats leftovers from the night before because by the time I cook a meal he's already asleep), convincing him to actually eat it, putting dishes away, washing dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, giving Brodie a bath, getting Brodie ready for bed, etc...So, excuse the hell out of me if I don't have a nice meal prepared every night...Just Sayin'...

3.  The Bachelorette Party that I was invited to is this weekend...I'm very excited to have a break!...I hope my son and my husband have some good Daddy/Son time :)  I wonder what they're gonna eat...Just Sayin'....

I'm leaving you with that picture because, well it makes me happy...and in less than 24 hours I will be there!  I hope everyone has an amazing weekend...I have a lot of blog reading to catch up on :)

  1. That is awesome about the Relay For Life!!!

My family is the same way about dinner. My husband works from home and still waits for me to get home and then asks me what I am cooking!!! I have just spent an hour commuting - ugh.

Have a great weekend away- Enjoy.

  2. I like this whole "Just Sayin'" theme!

And I totally get what you mean about dinner. Nobody gets to complain except the chef who had to cook it! Even if he does the dishes, nothing but, "Thanks for adding another thing to your already busy day and whipping me up something so I don't starve."

  3. I can't wait until my husband comes home. He's the only one in my family that doesn't whine that he "doesn't like something"; he just fucking eats it!

  4. I laughed the WHOLE way through this! I hope you are relaxing as I write this. At my house? despite the fact we BOTH work full time? Not a SINGLE night goes by where my husband doesn't ask what is for dinner.

  5. @Heather, I'm coming to the realization that I am not alone in this...Even though I find comfort in that, it still annoys the hell out of me...lol...Wonder if that will ever change?

@Chanel, thanks! And by the way, I have to do the dishes too...lol

@Asha, I'm lucky in the fact that my husband will eat whatever I cook as well...Good thing he's not a picky ass like me...lol

@Sara, :) I'm glad you laughed...I have to laugh or else I'd go insane!..lol...I was able to relax yesterday, which was wonderful...So I guess I'll keep my bitching to a minimum for the time being...
